Summary

This is a copy of a clever E-Mail that I received on 21/08/2002, almost a year after the terrorist attacks on America. If you look carefully on the notes, you may be able to see the web address http://www.testinadivitello.it/. I have checked out the website but it is in Italian and unfortunately I do not speak the lingo! But with little research I have discovered that the original version originates from the website www.allbrevard.net.

The website claims that one of their 'web guys' discovered this amazing coincidence while at a NASCAR party on 4th May 2002. A web page was created on the 9th May with the idea of sharing this find with friends. It was thought that only a dozen people would ever see the page but this proved to be an understated overview, 10 days later the hit counter had gone over the million mark, and now the web page has been viewed over 2 million times.

The original web page called this a coincidence, and that is all it is. This coincidental evidence of images portraying the 9/11 attacks was found by folding a $20 bill into different segments, but the art of folding notes and labels to find amusing pictures and messages has been a popular pastime for many years.

Final Thoughts

The US Treasury redesigned the present day $20 Dollar bill in 1998, and the folding of older notes will not achieve the same results.

Don't let a good story stand in the way of truth!
